To make a backup click on 
Close in the main menu:
(This procedure is not active when using Farm Everywhere )
Then you will be asked where to save the back up copy. You can specify where to save the backup.
Example: Z:\backup FARM
The backup will be copied to Z:\backup FARM (eg USB memory stick)
Via the button 
you can specify in which folder the backup should be stored.
Then click on this button: 
Back-up and close
While creating the backup, the program checks whether the backup is stored well.
