Batch is group management of growing pigs in PigVision.
With batches, you can make reports on the individual groups. This means that if you run an "all in all out" production, where the barn is not completely emptied before you put in the next pigs, you can still make a report on the individual team.
You can also divide the pigs into other types of keeping, including gender. All it requires is that you know which animals belong to which batch by your entries.
General setup of batch must be done under "General" - "Setup":
Here you need to select "Manuel" and click "Ok" to save.
Go to "General" – "Batch", which has now become available
Here you can set up your batches with any code and name. To find the correct "Pig type" - "Code", you can press F5 on the keyboard and get an overview of all animal types.
In "Supplier no.", enter the supplier number that is linked to your slaughterhouse statement.
Once you have set up your batches, you can create a "Batch report" in the same window to see key figures in relation to the set up batches.
You can also go to "General" - "Batch overview" to see the different batches.
