Description:
This indicator shows the average number of weaned piglets per litter. So, regardless of the type of weaning it shows the number of sows who weaned a particular number of piglets in the selected period. For the Operational monitor this is period based, for the service group monitor this value is based on the sows which have a weaning of that certain service group.
Calculation rule:
- Operational Monitor: The number of weaned piglets in the selected period is divided by the number of last weanings in the same period.
- Service Group Monitor: The number of weaned piglets from the sows in the service group is divided by the number of last weanings from that service group.
