To enter a death against a sow, you have to ensure she does not have any suckling piglets on her. Therefore you can either wean these piglets off her in the normal way and then enter the death or alternatively you can foster these pigs off her (via transferred piglets column) and now she is not suckling any piglets, you can enter the death date without the need to enter a weaning date.
